You probably have already seen this kind of article title dozens of times. And my opinion about this might actually shock you, because, hey – I’m a blog writer for a cup company, so I should care to assure you, that caffeine is a good thing.
But my opinion is that caffeine – in summary – it’s just bad for you.
Wow, wait a minute… I’ve read like ten articles saying how it’s good for your memory, it has a lot of antioxidants, damn, I even read that it lowers the risk of Type 2 diabetes, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s disease, so… it cannot be THAT bad, right?

Yeah, it all sounds great and Gucci, but first of all – have you considered that the caffeine market is so damn enormous right now, it’s global, it’s actually everywhere, and that these studies might not be all true?
Did you know that people ACTUALLY thought that cigarettes are HEALTHY? Wow, that sounds crazy! Yes, right now it does sound crazy for us, but let me tell you to tell something – it’s not really that different with caffeine.
Let’s be honest for a second – do you really drink your caffeine because of its health benefits? Because it lowers your whatever and improves your something else? Or do you consume your morning Starbucks latte because it tastes great and you are actually dependant on it?

Because the baseline is this – caffeine is a drug. That’s a fact.
It may cause sleeping pattern disregulation, even insomnia, digestive issues, muscle breakdown, high blood pressure, rapid heart rate, fatigue, more frequent urination and urgency and of course – it’s highly addictive.
And like every drug, when you are dependant on it, it is an external source of your happiness, and your life is dependant on that to make you feel good and be productive. Without it – you’re as not productive and you might feel anxious, drained, stressed out after some time, you name it.
And that’s not how your everyday life should look lie.
You might say – yeah, but you know – I got work to do, actually lots of it and my morning coffee helps me a lot to achieve my everyday goals.
Yeah, quitting caffeine might help you in a manner of achieving your goals too. Because after quitting it, you will have tons of energy all throughout the day, not just for a short period of time, just to experience drawback effects later. You don’t need an external boost to feel good and energetic everyday – all you need is good exercise, rest, and eating well.
Or at least – that’s what I’ve experienced for myself. And you might too.
If you are interested, I strongly advise you to watch videos that I will input in the source tab below.
These people know what they are talking about better than I do.
What is the most important here – I don’t really know you. Maybe quitting caffeine is not really for you?
But even having that kind of perspective and trying it out for yourself is for sure a valuable thing to do, don’t you think? 😉
